Brewery Spotlight: Wharf Hill Brewing Co.

Nestled in the heart of Downtown Smithfield is a place that is a brewery, a restaurant, and a bar all wrapped in one nice package.

Wharf Hill Brewing Co. sits in a building on Main Street that has stood for 100 years. This building has hosted many businesses throughout that time including a barbershop, a lodge, and more. Remnants of these businesses can still be found throughout its halls.

Wharf Hill’s fully stocked bar includes its own craft brews ranging from the Outage IPA, the Isle of Wheat, and the Holy Brale. Served along these beers are some guest taps from other breweries, fine wines, and spirits. While sipping, you can take a seat at the beer bench which is built from lumber saved from a 1900 school house.

Not content with just beer, wine, and spirits, Wharf Hill also has a fully operational kitchen. Their menu features burgers, pork BBQ, country ham, Non-Won-Tons (bbq wrapped in a fried egg roll), among many others.
